Everything about working with Marcus is LOVELY - from the first phone call, to our engagement photos, to our elopement photos. I was initially anxious about hiring a photographer, especially since (1) I had no idea where to start and (2) we were eloping so these were going to be *the* thing to mark the day. He was my first phone call and within 5 minutes of talking to him I was sold. I only had two broad (vague) ideas for what I wanted and he took them and turned them into plans I could be excited about.
Marcus was nothing but responsive and encouraging through everything. He was ready with new ideas and managed to keep me excited when I'd have otherwise been really stressed. I’m not sure anyone else would have been so flexible while also staying so warm and kind. And of course, the photos are gorgeous. He manages to talk to you and make you laugh and feel like you’re just hanging out while also capturing a thousand (literally) photos.

We can’t say enough positive things about Marcus. Right away, he was friendly, communicative, and helpful – we hired him before we’d thought much about the way the wedding would go, and he talked us through several possible wedding timelines and what his role in each would look like. We also did engagement photos with him, which let us get to know him a little better. Both of us can look awkward in photos, but he made us so comfortable that we both look relaxed and happy.
On our wedding day, Marcus was a tour de force; he helped keep everyone on schedule while still keeping it fun and light, and was just a truly joyful presence. We just got our photos back last week and they look great! We’re still choosing which ones we want printed in our album (sorry Marcus!) because so many of them turned out really well. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a very talented photographer who is exceptionally well organized and more than capable of taking charge when needed!

FAQs
We Don't Live In or Close To Maryland, Do You Travel For Weddings?
For weddings that would require that I travel more than 200 miles to and from Frederick, MD, there is an additional travel fee of $.65 per mile. I’m available for travel in the States and would love to attend your wedding. Here are a couple of the states I’ve attended weddings in:
Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia* - not an official state I know, Pennsylvania, and Kansas
*10% OFF if you book me for a wedding in a new state I’m yet to shoot in!
How Many Photos Will We Receive?
There are no limits on the number of photos you will receive. Each captured moment during your special day is important and I want to ensure you have the best that I have to offer.
Wedding Day: On average i’d say I deliver somewhere between 50-65 images per hour of coverage.
Engagement Sessions: 60-85 photos is a fair average for your to expect
When Will We Receive Our Photos?
Wedding Day Photos: Final gallery delivery is typically around 4-6 weeks with previews of the wedding within one week!
Engagement Session: it's usually around 2 weeks. If you need a few for “Save The Dates” or Invitations i’ll be sure you have a sooner!
All of your images are delivered online in a private gallery and you'll be downloading the full-resolution images!
Can You Provide Insurance To Our Venue?
I am fully insured through Full Frame Insurance. If your venue needs proof of insurance just let me know and I’d be happy to provide that for you.
